Anuj Bidve a 23 years old student from India was murdered when we walked from his hotel to Manchester city. He was a student at the Lancaster university where he studied micro- electronics. The person who killed him was the 21 years old Kiaran Stapleton. He admitted in court that he was the one who had shot Anuj, but says it was not a murder. Anuj’s parents flew over from India to see the place where their son was killed and they also visited the court to hear what Kiaran had to say. The case will be heard later.

I think it is awe full for the parents of Anuj. In the first place they were in India when this happened, so they were pretty far away and could not fly immediately. The answer that Kiaran gives is a bit vague if you ask me, he did shot , but it was not murder. It is strange that there is no further explanation to this in the article , so I think it is something that is not allowed to be in the news so far. I hope the case will be solved sooner than later and I hope the parents of Anuj will get a lot of support.

The diamond Jubilee festival was immense this year. The streets in London were all decorated with the colors of the flag. There were also two guests who came as a surprise, prince Charles and Camilla. Nobody had expected to see them and they were also sitting at a table with the guests. Everyone had brought food and drinks and two people were very lucky to sit next to the royals. Eva Learner and her daughter were the lucky ones, they told later that Charles and Camilla were very friendly to them and they felt very comfortable sitting next to them.

A party, or festival as this is great for a nation. Most of the time we feel very European because of the EU, but with those festivals you get your national feelings back. I think a festival like this is great for everyone and I think it is very brave from Charles and Camilla to show up between the “normal“ people. Most of the time royals don’t sit next to a normal burger. They prove now that they are just like everyone a very normal person who just love their country.

This Friday a soldier in Afghanistan was shot while he was on the observation post. His name is now announced in the country and his name was CPL Michael Thacker. Everyone was very shocked when they heard the news. Michael lived together with his wife and his two years old daughter. His wife says she is very sad hearing the news and she will always remember him as a very good man. His brother who is also served the 1^st ballation is very sad. They were not only brothers, but also best friends. His brother was not in Afghanistan when his brother got shot.  All the colleagues say that Michael was a hero and they will always remember him. The death from Michael increases the deaths in Afghanistan during operations. It is now on 416 people.

I feel very sorry for Michaels family and his colleagues.  On this moment a lot of people who work in Afghanistan to build up the country get killed for doing something good. I think this is crazy, people getting killed for just doing their job! It is not save for a soldier to be in Afghanistan anymore and I do think they should leave before the deaths increases even more. 416 People is already enough I think. I hope Michaels wife can lead a normal life later on together with their daughter.

Mobile phones, modern mobile phones all have internet these days. Also on places like , coffees shops, airports and hotels there is an access to the internet. Now there is a new place that we can add to this list. The first tube station in London has wife access for your mobile phone. One of the oldest subways is doing very modern. People can now find their travel information while they sit in the subway.  This is a very easy way to look up information very quickly especially when you are a tourist and not sure about all the different tubes.

I think this is a great solution to find information easily and quickly. Sometimes when you are not familiar on a specific place it is easy to just get your phone and look up the information. Almost everyone had internet access on their mobile phones and on many other places you can already look up information about public transportation or other information. I think it is great they do this to more and more places. I think they will do it to more stations if this turns out to be a success.

A few days ago there was a big fire in a house in Derby. The fire was immense and almost all the people who were inside the house died. There were six children inside the house and they all passed away. Jade, John, Jack, Jessie and Jayden died in the house , their brother Duwayne died in the hospital because of his injuries. The parents of those children have to go to court. A detective says this fire is started with patrol close to the front door. The parents are very sad, but don’t say a word about it.

If the parents truly “killed” their children I think it is crazy and very sad. Six young children who are not here anymore , all dead. On this moment the police does not have enough to prove that the parents were the one who started the fire, so that is all a little nerve-racking for the parents as for all the other family members. I hope the kids can rest in peace and I hope the case will be solved soon.

The Russian president Putin does not really like the British country and culture. He is very against the ideas from the UK and USA.  This year the Olympics will be held in the British city London and Putin decided not to go there. Instead of him his prime minister Dmitry Medvedev will go to London this summer. The former Labour minister of the European Union says he is glad with Putin’s decision not to come. When Putin visited Beijing in 2008 a unfriendly conversation between Putin and Bush became a topic.  To not have those conversations again it is the best for Putin to not come to the Olympics this year.

For me this sounds all a bit childish. All those men are adults who think before they say something and who give their respect to others. Putin has decided not to go to the Olympics to stay out of trouble, but I think an event like this should be an event with piece and a lot of bonding. There should not be people who blame others for things they do wrong. Maybe it is the best that Putin stays away , but I just think it is ridiculous that this is necessary to have a successful Olympics.

Fashion is an industry that is very hard to make enough money.  Fashion changes every time and sometimes a brand is very famous , but a month later the brand can be forgotten. In this industry a lot of people work without having a salary. The best way to get a good job in this fashion industry is to start with an unpaid internship. Some brands say they cannot exist if they did not have the unpaid employees. There are many different kind of jobs in this industry , if you work for a very good brand and arrange lots of things you will get a good cv, but you can also end up somewhere taking care of the coffee.

I think it is very unfair for all those people who work very hard in this industry and won’t get paid at all. I think this industry is very hard to function well and I do think that every intern should at least get a little bonus for all the hard work. The crisis has been terribly hard on some people , so if you work very hard for a company and also don’t get paid at all you should find another job to pay your costs. This is what I think the most silly thing I heard, I think those people earn some money from this industry.

In a park, a very normal park people found a little young dog. It was not just a dog, the dog could not even walk anymore. The owner , who the police is still looking for, abused the dog. The dog could not walk anymore, because his legs were broken. One of his legs is damaged, so Cody probably need an amputation. The dog is very young and very sweet, so no one can imagine that someone could really hurt this dog. His name is Cody now and people are looking for the owner or someone who already knew Cody.

When I read this article I got a very sick feeling inside me. I can not imagine that someone could hurt a dog so much that the dog has two broken legs. This is a very serious problem and I do think the person who did this should say it out loud. I think if you did something terrible like this you should be punished very hard. I am glad that Cody is fine at the moment and that he is starting to become a happy dog again. I hope those terrible things won’t happen again.

Prince William , who married his wife Kate last year is the duke of Cambridge. He lost his mom who everyone knows as Princes Diana a couple of years ago. Everyone can remember that accident and everyone was very sad. William never thought too much about it , because he had a rough time as he says in an interview. He now reveals that when he married Katie he really wanted his mom to see it. He feels sad about the fact that Diana will never meet Kate.  He hopes that she is proud of him and what is did in his life. The journalist who had the interview said she could tell that William was seriously hurt.

I feel very sorry for William and I understand his feeling of missing his mom. A marriage is something that both of your parents have to see. William was proud and happy with Kate and he wanted to show the whole world that he was in love and married her. Diana died a couple of years ago and this was very tragic for everyone. She was a very beloved person and I do think that she is very proud of her son if she could see him now.  I do understand that William wants to know how his mom thought about Kate and him together, but I do if she was still here she would support him.

The famous football player Titus Bramble is accused by a woman who’s name can not be told because of legal reasons. She met him at a night in a club and later on the shared the same cab. At first he wanted to kiss her, but because she knew he had a wife she refused. After that he started to get angry and touched her on different inappropriate places. The cabdriver drove to the police station where the woman went to the bathroom and came out when Bramble was gone. The court will decide how this is going to end.

I think it is terrible what happened here, something like this is a huge scandal , especially for a football player. Everyone in the news now knows about it and everyone has her or his opinion about it. I think it is terrible for the woman that something like this happened to her. I am glad the cab driver drove them immediately to the police station, because something like this should never happen again.  The woman is very scared and I can understand her, it is very scary to sit in a cab when someone is touching you.

Football is a sport that a lot of Young kids love, especially boys. The game is always a bit harsh , but it is most of the time very safe. Ciaran Geddes was playing football with his friends at his school when he suddenly collapsed. It was a moment that just happened and no one had seen this coming. He went to the hospital in Warrington and a few hours later he passed away. It is a big mystery how this could happen. His family is very sad and they react to the media that Carian was a lovely kid who had a big passion for football. The doctors will do more research about the causing of the kids death.

I think this article is very sad. This young kid who had a whole life in front of him dies when he is playing his favorite sport. The kid loved to play football and then something just happened what caused his death. I also think it is very strange that no one really knows what exactly happened and that doctors aren’t sure about the causing. I hope that research will figure out what exactly happened to this young boy. On this way his family also gets a little bit more rest.

A little girl was walking in a shop when something terrible happened to her. Three man were shooting in this shop, because their rival was there and he had to be killed. Their bullets did not hit the rival, but instead the little girl and an older man who was 35 years old. The girl named Thusa always wanted to become a dancer , but she is paralyzed for the rest of her life. The mother of Thusa reacts in shock and she can not say a lot about this accident. The three men did not show any remorse to the family of this girl. The judge concluded that the shooter is going to be in jail for about 17 years and the other two 14 years.

I think it is terrible what happened over here. A shop should always be a very safe place to be for everyone. I think it is very sad what happened to the girl , all her dreams are over at this moment and this should not be this way. I also think it is really childish of the three men that they will kill a rival in a shop. There are always more people in a shop , so it was predictable that someone else was going to be hit. That they don’t show any remorse is very disrespectful.

The very popular British band One Direction was visiting Australia when they heard that Rihanna was in the same city as they were.  Zayn and Louis wanted to see her so badly that they left the Hotel at 8 in the morning without any security. They did not know the city and they got lost very quickly. They also did not know where the premiere from Rihanna’s new movie would take place. In the main time another band member from One Direction was eating his toast, but after one bite he had enough of it. That piece of toast is now on ebay and for sale for 65.000 pounds.

I think this article is very funny to read. One Direction is very famous now in the UK, because of the television show Britain’s got talent. They had 3^rd place in this competition. Rihanna is a very big star and Zayn and Louis just wanted to meet her in Australia. I think it is very unsafe that they left without any security. I think you could expect to get lost in such a big city and especially when you do not know the place at all.  The toast Neill was eating is not worth a lot of money, which I think is ridicules.

After a lot of research people in the UK found out that a lot of people get discharged in the hospitals in the middle of the night between 23.00 and 6.00. The BBC asked 170 NHS hospitals if this was true , but only 100 responded. They discharge a lot of people in the night , because they need to free up beds. Sir Bruce thinks this is crazy and he says people only need to be discharged when it is safe and responsible. People who have overcome this can send a letter or call to The Patients Association.

I think it is ridicules that people who are laying in the hospital have to be discharged in the middle of the night. It is not safe for that person to go home around that time. I do understand that hospitals need to free up beds, but not on this way. We have to think about the importance from the patient. It’s  better to send them home early in the morning around 8 o clock instead of the night.
